Percutaneous implantation method with the sapphire blade guarantees the highest density in hair transplantation
One blade to rule them all
Dr. Cetin has been practicing the percutaneous method of hair implantation for close to 10 years. Taking into account the many advantages of this implantation technique, for the absolute majority of patients this is the optimal option. However, our team is always looking for ways to further improve. We now introduce the Sapphire Blade - a tool that perfects the process of opening donor channels.
Sapphire blade allows for the highest implantation density
The blade, exceptionally sharp and made out of a super-durable material, allows unparalleled precision when opening donor channels. The incisions are also smaller. As a result, a higher number of incisions can be made on the same area of skin when compared to other methods.
Further improved healing rates
Because the incisions are so small and precise, healing rates visibly improve. The blade is discarded after every patient, so the level of hygiene is also improved. And since a new blade is used for every patient, it is always optimally sharp.
What is Sapphire FUE Hair Transplantation?
How Sapphire FUE Achieves High Density of Implantation
Dr. Cetin used the Sapphire Punch to produce tiny incisions on the implantation area. Donor grafts, extracted from the back of the scalp, are then inserted into these incisions. To produce high density of implantation, the surgeon needs to make a large number of incisions on a small area.
Traditionally, most surgeons in Turkey use the micro-motor instrument to make implantation channels. Because of the shape of the micro-motor punch, the channels are large and U-shaped. When used for implantation, micro-motor causes a lot of unnecessary trauma to the scalp and due to the size of the channels, only up to about 40 of them can be made on a square centimeter of tissue.
The Sapphire Punch produces tiny V-shaped incisions. These are small enough, so that a donor graft only just fits inside and is immediately surrounded by tissue. This positively impacts graft survival rates and healing times. And because the incisions are small, up to 80-120 of them can be made on a square centimeter of tissue.
Benefits of Sapphire FUE Method
Much higher density of implantation
Higher graft survival and regrowth rate
Faster healing and recovery following the hair transplant
Lower risk of infections and complications
Minimal trauma and no scarring on the implantation area
